EMC

Righi Hertzian-wave Test Bench, Italy, Circa 1895Electromagnetic compliance (EMC) testing insures that your product does not cause interference with other electronic equipment and that your product itself is adequately protected from incoming interference caused by other sources.

Today, as virtually every country applies EMC requirements to electronics equipment, it is increasingly clear that EMC is an important part of the design process.

Often, manufacturers focus on electromagnetic compliance only after the completion of the prototype. Manufacturers can save time and money by avoiding delays and expenses associated with non-compliance by integrating EMC into the design cycle, rather than paying attention to it only at the final step prior to manufacturing.

For many companies, especially of medium and smaller size, electromagnetic compliance may not the their strongest expertise area, nevertheless the EMC compliance regulations do not differentiate between the experts and those who are new to the field.

With many years of experience in electromagnetic compliance and being design engineer myself I would be happy to assist you in making your product compliant with CE and FCC regulations with minimal effect on the cost of the BOM and in the shortest time possible - please make sure to involve us from the earliest phase of the design of your products.
